Position Summary:

Your consulting services will support the Technology Solution Services (TSS) mission to provide creative, high-quality, and cost-effective technology solutions and services in partnership with clients. You will provide consultation to all Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta business lines regarding toolsets, technology and knowledge based on Office 365 and other end-user technologies to boost user experience, collaboration, and productivity. You will be a trusted advisor offering expert technical counsel by understanding the business environment and associated processes and how to implement and maximize end-user technologies to meet our strategic plan. You will report to the Corporate IT Training Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic IT counsel and direction to staff and all levels of Bank management relating to end-user technologies, products, and solutions to include: O365, SharePoint Online Power Platform, and MS Dynamic CRM. Understand client projects and how end-user technologies can address challenges and concerns and complement existing processes.

- Meet with customer groups to learn about their business processes and technology challenges. Identify options and recommend integrated solutions.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of new end-user technologies to changing needs and operational changes and provide options for using the technologies. Develop programs and help with training materials to support ongoing knowledge of enhanced features of existing tools, and new functionality of automated applications and tools.

- Provide a high level of diverse technical experience related to leading and analyzing solution needs, application development, system process analysis, and process re-engineering. Learn new end-user technologies as they become available.

Education: Bachelor's degree (or 4 years equivalent experience)

The End User Technology Consultant:

Provides guidance to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta (FRBA) business lines to provide technology solutions and services in alignment with our strategic plan and the FRS Digital Transformation strategy.

Provides consulting services that are in alignment with the TSS Mission - Deliver innovative, high quality, and cost-effective technology solutions and services in partnership with clients.

Works with the District O365 Implementation/Migration team to consult staff on Office 365 solutions and services that provide organizational excellence and improve the user experience utilizing the Office 365 product suite.

Provides consultation to all FRBA business lines with toolsets, technology and knowledge based on Office 365 and other end user technologies to boost their collaboration and productivity throughout the district/ system.

Helps drive user adoption of O365 and other FRS end user technologies

Provides recommendations to increase user productivity and enhance the user experience by leveraging technology, specifically Office 365 and all its features.


Advanced knowledge of the Office 365 suite of apps and specific knowledge of SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Delve, O365 Groups, Planner, Teams, OneNote, PowerApps, Flow, Power BI for desktop and mobile applications.

Strong communication skills with a consultative approach/background to conduct discovery sessions, assess options, set expectations, make recommendations and implement O365 solutions.

Consulting experience, business acumen, analytical, project management and organizational skills required and ability to lead and deliver successful O365 adoption projects.

Working knowledge of Azure and cloud strategies is a plus.


District O365 Transition Support

Designs, plans, and supports the implementation of O365 services

Consult, manage, design, and perform migration to SharePoint Online

Participate in Local Share Services Providers community and other work groups

Perform system reviews of current environment to determine customer migration/implementation needs

Support the use of the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)

surrounding O365 services

Provide input for the shared solutions team to implement MS Dynamic CRM

Engage end users to understand the benefits of MS Teams, and Meet Now functionality to prepare to transition from Skype for Business and SLACK

Perform system/ migration analysis throughout the duration of the project to implement process improvements

Work with Records Information Management/ Information Security to define governance and compliance processes for district implementation/migrations/upgrades


Deliver project-based assignments that include proof -of concept initiatives

Make recommendations for end user training and adoption strategies

Facilitate district awareness sessions for new and emerging technologies

Create workflows, applications, lists as needed

Assist in the creation and delivery of acceptable user policies and best practices

Conduct discovery sessions with the business unit stakeholders and identify the "quick wins' that can be delivered

Identify the most optimal way to achieve business goals using OOTB (Out of the Box)

Understand customers' business and the impacts of technology on the business

Conducts assessments from a business perspective to understand customer needs

Participate in systems work groups to collaborate throughout the system

Serve as the customer's trusted adviser, identify and pursue additional opportunities

Make recommendations for district plans for future Digital Transformation projects

Transfer knowledge to customers as part of the delivery of services and through consulting, advising, and training

Document customer concerns and works towards timely resolution issues by working with appropriate departments/divisions

Prepare findings outlining short and long-term strategies Experience:Five to eight years preferred
